Lunar Eclipse

For me it has still been too cold to ride but I did stand out in the cold on Wednesday night to view the lunar eclipse. I managed to take a bunch of pictures through my telescope with my Meade LPI imager. Its just a modified webcam but I got a few good pictures you can see here. The moon really turn a nice shade of red when it was in total eclipse.

I was really cold by the end of the eclipse but I'm glad that I stuck it out since the next one won't occur in the US until December 2010.

Road Biking New Jersey

I started this blog to share my experiences biking around the roads in NJ. Last year I spent the season riding all over the state while working on the book "Road Biking New Jersey". I had a lot of fun documenting my journey last year and decided to start this blog to continue to share my adventures. This blog will contain descriptions and pictures of my rides in and around NJ. Here is a link to pictures from some of last years rides. I don't have any new bike pictures this year yet but here is a picture of my dog who is wearing a cone because of an infected foot.
